Prior to specialising, I worked in the UK for a year in numerous medical disciplines, and used the opportunity to visit the sights and explore the arts and culture of Europe! On my return to South Africa, I worked in general practice and at the department of Neurology at Groote Schuur Hospital. On completion of my specialisation, I worked at the Redcross Children’s Hospital eye department, the Glaucoma department at Groote Schuur hospital and well as at Eerste river hospital, where high volume cataract surgery is performed.
I am blessed with a precious family and appreciate living in the beautiful city of Cape Town. I love nature, exercise, the arts and music, travelling and spending quality time with my loved ones.
